‘No Child should be left behind’ In Nalgonda district due to severe drought conditions the farming community is brutally affected and many of them are committing suicides. In order to give support to those families the NIRVANA Organization initially started its first project in the year 2016 in Nalgonda district of Telangana State on school going children by providing NIRVANA SCHOOL KITS to the children of suicide farmer families and single parent poor families in order to give helping hand, strengthening the families by becoming a member of those families, support their educational interest and also to prevent the school drop outs.

PROJECT – 2:
To reinforce the Government Schools NIRVANA works at Janthanda Government Primary School in a remote village at Nampally mandal in Nalgonda district. The school is having only a single teacher and 25 children of poor families belonging to Scheduled Tribe community, the NIRVANA provided NIRVANA SCHOOL KIT, Shoes, tie & belt to all the students and conducted an awareness program in the village to encourage the families to send their children to Government Schools. Also, gave representation to the District Educational Officer of Nalgonda to appoint a Vidya Volunteer for successful running of the classes. With this initiation, recently the DEO of Nalgonda appointed Vidya Volunteer to this school.

Nalgonda district which is near to capital Hyderabad(100 kms), it has many drawbacks in development with highly affected fluorosis villages in the Asia, and also low concentration of water resources and other factors it is still underdeveloped with superstitious and other unwholesome practices where in certain divisions like Devarakonda, Miryalaguda and other remote parts of the district the female feticides, infanticides, selling of girl child, child marriages, sexual exploitation, and women related superstitious inhuman activities against girl child are recording high. To eradicate such social evil practices in the society, NIRVANA along with Master of Social Work (MSW) of Mahatma Gandhi University Nalgonda conducted awareness programmes in the Okondi, Ellareddyguden, Anneparthy Villages and also done a research study to identify the causing factors to such practices.
